Water & Flood Restoration

FutureFlue will restore your property to its pre-loss condition following an escape of water or flooding occurrence. Our employees have been trained to understand the science of drying, we can manipulate the following factors in a drying situation:

Inspection

FutureFlue will carry out a full inspection of the property, this will allow us to establish the full scope of water ingress throughout the property. During this inspection we will take measurements and readings using a Tramex water restoration metering kit, the readings will be recorded and will allow us to calculate the equipment required to fully dry out the property. These readings will also help us monitor the drying progress later on in the job.

Secondary Water Damage

Secondary damage is damage which occurs in the hours, days and weeks following an escape of water or flood event, this damage can be avoided if preventative measures are put in place immediately after an occurrence. Initial secondary damage can include; water creeping from one surface to another, wicking of water up walls, capillary action within materials, etc. Further secondary damage which will occur the longer the property is left before work is carried out can include; Mould growth, water becoming trapped in materials beneath subfloors, etc.

Insurance Loss Damage Report

A damage report is generally required by the Insurance Loss adjuster before work can commence. We will compile this report using the information acquired during the initial inspection and can assist the householder in making the claim if necessary.
